Description
Tennessee Suited originated from a cross between Rosella Purple and Pink Berkeley Tie Dye made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2009 named Tidy (an F1 hybrid). Tennessee suited is a mid-season regular leaf dwarf with heavy yields of medium sized smooth oblate dusky rose purple fruit with a deep crimson interior and vertical greenish stripes, and an intense, balanced flavor. Plants reach about a metre+/ 3-5 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by project volunteers Susan Bailey and Ted Maiden. It is a close cousin to another Dwarf release, Adelaide Festival.
