Description
TastyWine originated from a cross between Dwarf Wild Fred (one of our initial Dwarf Project releases) and Brandywine made by Vince Lavallo in 2009, named Tasty (an F1 hybrid). TastyWine is a mid-season potato leaf dwarf with heavy yields of medium to large smooth crimson pink fruit in the 8 – 12 oz range, possessing a rich, balanced, delicious flavor reminiscent of the Brandywine parent. Plants reach about a metre+/ 3-5 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by project volunteer Vince Lavallo.
