Description
Tasmanian Chocolate originated from a cross between New Big Dwarf and Paul Robeson made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005 named Happy F1. Tasmanian Chocolate was selected and named by project volunteer Linda Reid in Tasmania. It is an early-season regular leaf brown/brick-red variety with richly coloured flesh, has good productivity, and fruits are medium oblate with variable mild to very tasty well balanced flavour. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season. Photo Credit: Tatiana’s TOMATObase
