Description
Perth Pride originated from a cross between New Big Dwarf and Paul Robeson made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005 named Happy F1. Perth Pride was selected and named by Tessa Millesse after her home city in Western Australia. Perth Pride is an early to mid-season regular leaf purple variety with richly coloured flesh, and fruits are small to medium globes with tasty tangy flavour. This variety is thin-skinned and likely to develop splits if it receives too much water around ripening time but is one of the hardiest dwarf varieties. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season.
