Description

Lofthouse landrace cucumbers were developed in a cold mountain valley in Northern Utah. They are descended from whatever random plants and varieties had the ability to survive the bugs, late spring frosts, early monsoonal rains, etc. Survival of the fittest at it’s finest. They were developed under subsistence level growing conditions without the use of fertilizers or cides. They are an early general purpose cucumber that can be used both for pickles and for fresh eating. Bred by Joseph Lofthouse.
