Red-to-heart breeding stock mated with (little) ‘Pandero’ mini romaine…oh my, imagine the many mini reds. ‘Pandero’ is a solid wine version of Winter Density with great disease resistance and productivity. This mix ranges from the darkest reds into exotic red-splashed variegations. Short leaves are packed into rounded or pointed heads, often rosebud pink, that are quickly parted into gorgeous salad.
