Description
King Sieg Leek is an open pollinated cultivar derived from a cross between King Richard and Siegfried leeks. King Sieg has pseudostems (shanks) that are intermediate between King Richard and Sigfried, and possesses some of the blue-green color of Siegfried. It has a thick shaft, is not too leafy, has a straight pseudostem (shank) with no bulb, and is very winter hardy. The leaves contain a bit of purple pigmentation.
