Description
“Striking, fiery red and orange colored strawflowers were selected out of the classic Monstrosum Mix. We selected this variety over many years in an attempt to produce a stable, single color. However, Firefly strawflower had other plans, and continues to provide a diversity of flame-like color combinations. Producing both light and dark orange petals with varying degrees of red accents, Firefly would be good design inspiration for a spaceship or rocket engine. The papery blooms make great additions to dried flower arrangements and wreaths. Tall plants grow up to 3.5’ tall and are covered with 1.5″-2.5” flowers that can even stand up to a few light autumn frosts, providing loads of strawflowers continually from July through October in many areas.”
