Description
85 days, dwarf — The rugose, chartreuse-colored potato leaf plants of ‘Dwarf Zoe’s Sweet’ reach four to five feet tall. The fruit are oblate shaped, six to sixteen ounces each, and pink in color. The flavor is on the sweet side, and the texture is as meaty as its parent, ‘Pale Leaf Mullens Mortgage Lifter‘. The chartreuse gene causes plants to grow a bit taller, so this dwarf will require a bit of a taller stake to tame
One of the more unusual of the Dwarf Tomato Project varieties, ‘Dwarf Zoe’s Sweet’ will be a stand out in your garden due to its interesting, chartreuse-colored foliage. Originating from the “Morty” family, Craig LeHoullier selected and named the variety after his beloved black lab. Additional contributions are from Nancy Ruhl and Bill Minkey. It was introduced by the Victory Seed Company for the 2021 gardening season.
