Description
The Beauty family originated from a cross made by Vincent Lavallo between the Dwarf Tomato Project release Dwarf Wild Fred and the indeterminate variety Beauty King. Dwarf Suz’s Beauty was selected and named by Susan Oliverson. The regular leaf dwarf plants produce lots of medium sized (5-8 ounce) slightly oblate bright yellow tomatoes with red stripes, and the yellow flesh has a central red blush. The flavor is distinctive, assertive and well balanced. It is considered a mid to late season variety. Along with key contributor Susan Oliverson, others who contributed to this release are Craig LeHoullier, Nancy Ruhl, Suzane Dzejachok, Carolyn Keiper, and Sandra Tipton; Bill Minkey grew out the final release seed.
