Description
85-90 days, dwarf – The rugose, regular leaf plants of ‘Dwarf Oriole’ reach four to five feet tall and are very productive. The fruit are smooth skinned, oblate shaped, six to twenty ounces each, and bright pale orange in color. Many fruits will show a lovely, pale pink core. They have an intense, well-balanced flavor and lovely juicy texture, truly a wonderful slicing tomato and the regular leaf sister tomato to ‘Dwarf Tanager’. Emerging from the Dwarf Tomato Project’s “Fancy” family, ‘Dwarf Oriole’ was selected by Susan Oliverson and named by Craig LeHoullier, with the lead fruit type grown by Caitlin LeHoullier. Additional contributors to this release are Craig LeHoullier and Bill Minkey. It was introduced by Victory Seed Company in 2022.
