Description
“70 days, dwarf — ‘Dwarf Mint Steak’ plants are compact reaching about two feet in height and have rugose, regular shaped leaves. Its fruit are borne in clusters of four to six tomatoes that range in weight from two to five ounces each, have an elongated, globe shape, and are light and dark green striped in color with varying degrees of amber blush and green flesh when fully ripe. The flavor can be described as being mild with a slightly tart finish. Developed by members of the “”Dwarf Tomato Project,”” ”Dwarf Mint Streak’ was selected out of the “”Kiwi”” family and named by Robin Bort. Others who contributed to its stabilization included Craig LeHoullier, Lee Newman, Justin Sieglaff, Bill Burke, Suzanna Dzejachok, Bill Yoder, Steven Adams, Laurie Sutherland, Sharon Rossy, Nicole Diana, and Desire Sommers, with Bill Minkey growing out the final selection.”
