60 days, dwarf – The rugose, regular leaf dwarf growing (but on the tall side, relatively speaking, reaching 5 feet tall by the end of the season) variety is very prolific, loaded with medium sized, round bright yellow cherry tomatoes with an outstanding flavor, perhaps the best flavored of all of the released dwarf cherry types to date and on a par with the best indeterminate and hybrid varieties! This is the first release from the Teensy family, and future releases in chocolate, purple, pink and green will follow in the next few years. The Teensy family was created by Craig when crossing dwarf ‘Summertime Green’ with indeterminate heirloom Mexico Midget. The variety was selected and named by Justin Sieglaff from material grown out by Linda Black. Craig LeHoullier, Mike Dunton and John Dunton are the other significant contributors.
