Description
Dwarf Arctic Rose originated from a cross between Budai Torpe and Black from Tula made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005 named Grumpy (an F1 hybrid). Dwarf Arctic Rose is an early to early mid-season regular leaf dwarf with heavy yields of medium small to medium oblate pink fruit in the 4-8 ounce range, possessing a mild, sweet, pleasant flavor. Plants reach about a metre+/ 3-4 ft by end of season. The variety is a bit taller and less compact than its sister variety Yukon Quest. This variety was selected and named by project volunteers Susan Bailey and Sherry Shiesl.
