Description
Big Green Dwarf originated from a cross between Golden Dwarf Champion and Cherokee Chocolate made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2006 named Cheeky (an F1 hybrid). Big Green Dwarf is a early mid-season regular leaf dwarf with heavy yields of medium to medium large oblate green fruit in the 6-12 oz range with a balanced, pleasant flavor. The green flesh is covered by yellow skin, giving ripe fruit an amber external appearance upon ripening. Plants reach about a metre+/ 3-4 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by project volunteer Marjorie Holloway.
