Description

Banksia Queen originated from a cross between Golden Dwarf Champion and Elbe made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2006 named Tipsy F1. Banksia Queen was selected and named by Patrina after a native Australian Banksia flower. This variety is a late-season regular leaf bright golden yellow variety with pale yellow flesh, and fruits are medium to medium-large oblate with a well balanced fruity flavour. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season.
