Description

Unusual vibrant red tomato with rich purple shoulders. Reflects Ashland’s rich cultural heritage. Coloring can be variable between orange, plum and yellow. A stable cross with Bosque Blue and Goldman’s Italian American bred by Chuck Burr. Introduced by Restoration Seeds in 2013, named for its home town of Ashland, OR. Medium sized tomato larger than Bosque Blue. Purple skin is rich source of anthocyanin, as a blueberry. Firm thick skin, good shipper, not soft heirloom. Rich flavor, ideal full-body tomato for salads.
