Description

Bred for organics. Indeterminate growth, potato leaf foliage. Fruit are round on average, but can tend to slightly heart shaped to slightly oblate, 4 ounce average, ranging from 3 to 8 ounces, ripening early to mid season. Yield is variable season to season but generally very good. The smooth fruit are produced in clusters, and are yellow with intense deep crimson marbling, highly variable fruit to fruit. Uncut fruit show varying red shading over a yellow background, which intensifies with ripening. Flavor is full, intense, well balanced, and very much like it’s parent variety Brandywine, with perhaps a touch more sweetness than its larger sibling, Lucky Cross. Bred by Craig LeHoullier.
