Description

The Quirky family originated from a cross made by Ray South between Green Zebra and a red fruited selection from the Dwarf Tomato Project Cheeky family. Dwarf Numbat was selected and named by Ray South. The medium small round tomatoes resemble the parent Green Zebra, being striped gold and green on the outside, with green, tart, tasty flesh. It is very prolific and a mid-season variety. Along with Ray South, significant contributors in its development are Craig LeHoullier, Patrina Nuske Small, Lisa Moore, Susan Oliverson and Shawn Conant, with Bill Minkey producing seed of the final selection.
