Description
Sleeping Lady originated from a cross between Budai Torpe and Black from Tula made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005 named Grumpy (an F1 hybrid). Sleeping Lady is an early to early mid-season regular leaf dwarf with heavy yields of medium small to medium oblate chocolate/brick red fruit in the 3-6 ounce range, possessing a mild, sweet, pleasant flavor. Plants reach about a metre+/ 3-4 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by project volunteer Sherry Shiesl.
