Description
Lucky Swirl originated from a cross between an early selection in the Dopey line and Lucky Cross made by Ray South in 2008 named Jaunty (an F1 hybrid). Lucky Swirl is a mid-late season regular leaf dwarf with heavy yields of medium to large smooth oblate yellow fruit with red swirls in and out, in the 8 – 16 oz range. The tomatoes have a mild, sweet balanced flavor. Plants reach about a metre+/ 3-4 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by project volunteer Marjorie Holloway.
