Description
Dwarf Sweet Sue originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Golden Dwarf Champion and Green Giant in 2005, named Sneezy (an F1 hybrid). Dwarf Sweet Sue is a mid-late season potato leaf dwarf with heavy yields of medium to medium large tomatoes that vary from round to slightly oblate, in the 4-10 ounce range, that are a bright yellow color. The ripe fruit often show varying proportions of red blushing on the blossom end. The flavor is outstanding, intense and sweet, and is one of the very best tasting of all of the Dwarf Project releases. Plants reach about a metre+/ 3-5 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by project co-leader Craig LeHoullier after his wife Susan, his favorite person and certainly very sweet!
