Description
A very sweet, oblong, bicolor, crack resistant indeterminate cherry tomato. Golden yellow with red speckling melding to red at the blossom end. Originated as an off-type in our Honeydrop plants, that became our children’s favorite plant in the hoophouse that summer (luckily the plants got too tall for them to reach, and so we were able to save seed). Still very early in the breeding process, but the plants have been very uniform. Only grown in hoophouse conditions so far, in Western Massachusetts. Fruit get soft when overripe, but tend to shrivel (like a raisin) rather than rot, due (we think) to the high sugar content. Bred by Tevis and Rachel Robertson-Goldberg, with the original plant identified and named by Anona Robertson-Goldberg.
