Description

Vine. A squash for every occasion! This butternut is a mix of various ancestors. It is the result of me mixing seed from multiple sources over several years, and then selecting for earliness, ability to produce without needing watering, dark orange flesh, long storage life, and a range of sizes: this squash offers possibilities if you are feeding a crowd or providing a side-dish for one person. Ancestors include Adaptive Seeds’ Butternut Early Remix, but also squash from our Orthodox Mennonite neighbours and others given to us by various friends. This is our family’s favourite squash. Stores up to 8 months. Derived (in part) from an OSSI variety. 130 days to maturity.
